Smoothies are a great option for a snacks or even a meal time element! Smoothies are not only an easy on-the-go snack, but they also are great for teething. The cool temperature soothes those tender little mouthes and there is no chewing required which minimizes discomfort. This smoothie in particular is sweet and delicious but also packed with a variety of ingredients and nutrients (iron, protein, folate, fiber, fatty acids, potassium and more).
Smoothies are simple to make and any extra can be frozen into easy to access portions for later. I liked to use extra Kiinde bags from when I pumped breastmilk and there are reusable pouch spout tops or spoons to use with those. (There is Kiinde Foodii kit with a special container and many attachments to allow for easy filling of the bags with smoothies or purees). There are completely reusable pouch options as well.
