Favorite Breastfeeding and Pumping Items.

Breastfeeding is such a spectacular thing. There are so many benefits for everyone involved including nutrition and immunity for baby, bonding for baby and mama and convenience of feeding baby whenever mom is around without lots of supplies or hassle. In as many ways that it is great, it can also be really challenging. If mom is frequently outside the home, pumping will be necessary which is a process all of its own. It is a journey that is different for all but everyone can be successful in their own way. Here is my list of favorite products that aided in my success (and significantly with my sanity).

Smoothies are a great option for a snacks or even a meal time element! Smoothies are not only an easy on-the-go snack, but they also are great for teething. The cool temperature soothes those tender little mouthes and there is no chewing required which minimizes discomfort. We love our nursery! Not just because of the functional items in it but because it is such a calm and inviting space that we love spending time in as a family. We used the nursery throughout the day essentially initially after Poppy came home. It built a wonderful foundation for feelings of comfort for her in “her room” and provided me much needed comfort too. Here’s the lift of my favorite nursery items.

Muffins are the unspoken hero of motherhood. This muffin recipe is one that is packed with spinach to add many nutrients not commonly seen in baked goods. They are yummy, not messy and loved by the babes. Poppy LOVES these so much that she is often mad once she is finished and there isn’t another one ready!
